The name GPower originates from the programming language G, where LabVIEW—our primary tool—serves as the editor itself. GPower also stems from a belief that the market standard to date has been too expensive and too time-consuming when it comes to developing and implementing software and hardware for measurement and test in industrial settings—a story you can read more about in The story behind GPower.
