Get quality controllers at completely different prices than before! [CompactRIO]

Where the price of a high-quality controller has quickly approached DKK 30,000–40,000, this no longer needs to be the case! National Instruments has released a new series of cRIO models at completely different prices than we have seen before—prices that make it easier to launch new projects and complete existing ones.

Get quality controllers at half the price!

Can your project be realized with one Ethernet port instead of two and a more cost-conscious FPGA? These are the kinds of questions you can ask yourselves if you are interested in getting quality controllers at half the price, as the new cRIO models make possible!

GPower is a supplier of hardware from National Instruments

Take cRIO-9056, for example: With the exception of the number of network ports and a different FPGA, it does exactly the same as cRIO-3035. The difference is simply that while cRIO-9035 costs DKK 26,680, cRIO-9056 costs only DKK 14,010.

That is, with a few compromises you can get the same controller, but at roughly half the price. And in this case, you even get a controller that supports using NI-DAQmx directly from C modules without using the FPGA, which is not the case with the more expensive model.

Launch new projects and complete existing ones

While many have previously avoided starting projects because the hardware price alone has seemed unmanageable and daunting, we believe that news like this can help change the trend—so that it becomes both manageable to start new projects and to replace old hardware in existing systems to optimize and safeguard processes.

How can we help?

At GPower, we integrate National Instruments hardware with our own in-house developed software when, for example, we develop solutions to collect measurements, generate signals, and store datasets.

In addition, we also assess which solution best fits your project. And to stay with the cRIO models, we often find, for example, that it can be more than sufficient to have a controller to measure temperature and synchronize devices, while the amount of RAM and storage may be of less importance. When assessments like these are crucial, it is because they can have a particular impact on the hardware price.
