Test and measurement for the wind industry
GPower delivers advanced test and validation solutions to the international wind industry—an forward-looking and innovative sector focused on rapid technological development, stricter documentation requirements, and an increasing emphasis on data quality and operational reliability.
Our test platforms support the entire value chain: from development, prototype testing, and production testing to site acceptance and ongoing performance evaluation.
One of the system requirements was that it had to be able to measure blade dynamics on blade lengths of up to 80 metres. In addition, it also had to be able to forward measurement results to our data acquisition system, which GPower has delivered in full.

Why does the wind industry choose GPower?
Realistic measurement during operation
By building custom-designed instrumentation systems, we can measure blade dynamics on massive blades. This includes measuring movements during real operation, unintended loads, and interaction with wind and weather.
Advanced data acquisition and analysis
Our solutions combine real-time data processing, high-volume data logging, and the ability to transfer to data acquisition systems, providing deep insight into performance, loads, and mechanical behaviour—both during development and in operation.
Modularity and flexibility
Our software and hardware architecture is modular and configurable, making it easy to adapt instruments and test platforms to different blade sizes, turbine infrastructures, and specialised test requirements.
Simulation when physical testing is impractical
We offer wind turbine simulators that enable testing and validation of, for example, turbine functions, software, and control systems—without the need for a physical wind farm. This saves time and space and makes testing independent of weather or installation.
From R&D to production and operations
Our expertise covers all phases—from development projects and validation to production testing and ongoing operational monitoring. This means you can work with a single supplier throughout the entire value chain and ensure consistency, quality, and traceability over time.
“Our wind turbine simulator has made it easier, cheaper, and faster for us to test different functions, and it has also been highly significant in improving our quality and operational reliability—for example, when we verify various software functions or when we test new elements in R&D“

GPower and Cryptera Device Security
Are your devices secure and resilient against cyber threats? In collaboration with Cryptera Device Security, we combine secure key management, device certificates, and in-line testing with LabVIEW and TestStand, ensuring every device leaves the production line with a verified identity, built-in cyber resilience, and support for the EU CRA and NIS2.
Protect your keys
Protect your signing keys against loss, leakage, and misuse with the Cryptera Key Management Platform. It provides control over usage, role-based access, approvals, audit logging, and encrypted backup, supporting the requirements of security standards such as IEC 62443 and ETSI EN 303 645.
Provision and test at scale
A production-ready LabVIEW® toolkit handles certificate requests and secure injection per device, along with functional testing and traceability. No integration hassle for you, as the toolkit delivers full functionality straight out of the box.
Ship with trusted identity
Each device is issued a unique device certificate, ensuring that only verified devices can access your platform by providing strong authentication, encrypted communication, and lifecycle management. This prevents unauthorised access and protects sensitive data.
Security built in from the start
The solution aligns with EU NIS2/CRA expectations and is mapped to IEC 62443-4-1/4-2 practices for private key control, secure update delivery, and establishing roots of trust.

Documented quality:
On the path to AS9100 and ISO 9001 certification
At GPower, we are in the process of becoming AS9100 and ISO 9001 certified and expect to achieve certification in summer 2026. With this certification, GPower will be the first Danish AS9100- and ISO 9001-approved test house.
AS9100 and ISO 9001 set some of the most comprehensive requirements in the industry for quality management, documentation, and process control. The certifications ensure structured processes, high traceability, and reliable delivery—and also guarantee that our solutions meet the highest requirements for quality, safety, and operational reliability.
Our quality system includes, among other things:
- Streamlined processes and systematic quality control
- High traceability in all project phases
- Risk-based quality management and full documentation
- Continuous improvements based on audits and experience
- Full compliance with international standards and industry requirements
The certifications ensure:
- Structured and proven processes
- High traceability and documentation throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Risk-based quality management
