Welcome to Thomas Haagen Birch – GPower’s new Head of Engineering

This month, we have not only welcomed our new Project Manager, Martin Ulstrup, but also our new Head of Engineering, Thomas Haagen Birch. In addition to many years of experience as a Test Manager at Terma, Thomas also has extensive experience with TestStand, and he has worked with PCB design, electronics analysis, mathematical electronics models, measurement, and instrumentation.

Thomas Haagen Birch holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from DTU Electro, specializing in power electronics, and has extensive test experience from Terma, where he began his career as an Electronic Engineer. He later became Test Manager in their space division, where he worked, among other things, with testing, automation, and reporting in a highly strictly regulated industry.

In addition, Thomas has extensive experience with TestStand, and he has worked with PCB design, electronics analysis, mathematical electronics models, measurement, and instrumentation. These are all competencies that are a perfect match for leading and developing GPower’s engineering department.

Why GPower?

“I look forward to gaining insight into testing and automation across many different industries, while also being part of innovative system development spanning many different disciplines. GPower represents high quality and strong professionalism, which I find very inspiring. At the same time, I am also proud to be working with some of the best test software developers in the country,” says Thomas Haagen Birch.

At GPower, we warmly welcome Thomas. We look forward to an exciting collaboration!
