Test and measurement systems developer with a flair for hardware and LabVIEW

Would you like to become part of Denmark’s leading experts in LabVIEW and TestStand, and develop cutting-edge test and measurement systems for industry? Then send an application! We are currently looking for a systems developer with a flair for hardware and LabVIEW.

About the job

As a system developer at GPower, you will become part of a highly knowledgeable and innovative environment, where professionalism and diversity play a major role in terms of education, competencies, and experience.

At the same time, you will also become part of a culture with the mission: “Let’s Test & Measure the World’s Systems. Faster. Easier. Smarter.” A mission to create modular and scalable software and hardware solutions that raise the bar for what can be delivered for a given investment—and which has made us the Nordics’ preferred development partner for test and measurement systems for industry.

As a system developer at GPower, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our software and hardware solutions, based on a solid understanding of the real-world context in which the systems operate. You take pride in creating robust and well-documented solutions that enable reuse and learning across projects, and that make it easier for our customers to maintain their systems.

You will work both independently and in teams, closely with other system developers and software architects, and you will typically be part of the process from defining the customer’s needs through planning, design, implementation, testing, and support. The position will involve a significant amount of consulting work for a major customer, where you and a team of GPower specialists work on high-tech solutions. In addition, part of your time will also be spent on project work on either internal projects or customer projects related to the development and maintenance of proprietary software solutions.

At GPower, you will, among other things, work on developing:

  • Specialized test systems for, for example, the robotics and wind industries
  • Data acquisition systems and specialized measuring instruments
  • Efficient and user-friendly production facilities
  • New state-of-the-art GPower products

About you

  • You have a relevant education in engineering, natural sciences, or computer science (preferably as an electrical engineer). Your education is not the most important factor—your skills in LabVIEW and electronics are.
  • We have tasks that suit both experienced and less experienced developers, so we would like to hear from you whether you have 2 or 20 years of experience.
  • You have concrete, hands-on experience with LabVIEW
  • You are familiar with industrial communication technologies and protocols, and you understand how physical signals are converted into data through sensors and computer systems.
  • You may have practical skills that go beyond software alone, enabling you to build and troubleshoot physical test and measurement systems in workshops, laboratories, and production environments.
  • You work in a structured and responsible manner on your own tasks, with an understanding of prioritization.
  • You have strong collaboration and communication skills
  • You speak fluent Danish and have a high level of English, both written and spoken.
  • It is an advantage, but not essential, if you have experience with machine safety in relation to the Machinery Directive, CE marking, risk assessments, etc. (we work with Safexpert and SISTEMA).

For this position, we are looking for profiles from across the Central Jutland region.

We offer

In addition to being a company with room to breathe, we are also a company that focuses on making work both fun and educational. Furthermore, freedom with responsibility is a key parameter in our culture. We therefore also trust that you will adapt your schedule to fit your lifestyle.
