GPower: Now with three LabVIEW Champions

Not just one or two, but a full three LabVIEW Champions are now part of GPower! An appointment that clearly underscores our expertise within NI’s graphical programming language, LabVIEW, which is particularly used for test, measurement, and control. Congratulations to Jesper Kjær Sørensen, who with his new title, among other things, aims to establish a LabVIEW network in Denmark where people can learn from one another across companies and universities.

What is a LabVIEW Champion?

As a LabVIEW Champion, you have been recognized by NI for application development, technical depth, and contributions to the LabVIEW community. In addition to being a credible expert who inspires others to learn and grow with LabVIEW, LabVIEW Champions are also characterized by being positive role models who contribute to the success of the programming language.

A statement from our new Champion

When I started at GPower back in 2017, it was with a clear ambition to become one of the best in LabVIEW. There is still a long way to go, but I am therefore extremely proud to be accepted into the LabVIEW Champions network. In addition to being a really great network, it also provides the opportunity to take part in in-depth discussions across continents and cultures.

I look forward to helping shape the future of LabVIEW. There are some exciting initiatives both from NI and within the various LabVIEW communities, which include, among other things, expanding training opportunities, promoting collaboration on open-source tools, and much more. This aligns well with my work in the non-profit organization GCentral, where I participate both on the board and in GCentral’s Idea Exchange.

In the near future, my goal is to establish a LabVIEW network in Denmark where people can learn from one another across companies and universities. So please get in touch if you would like to be involved” – Jesper Kjær Sørensen.
