By relocating further up Samsøvej in Hinnerup, GPower has now found the right setting to accommodate current growth and future ambitions for expansion. At the same time, this ensures the best possible working conditions for current and future developers and staff.
It is not a long move, but it makes a world of difference. In early December, we moved from Samsøvej 21 to Samsøvej 31, because it offers the most optimal environment for our growth and the direction we are currently heading in. With more space and an open, professional environment, GPower has taken an exciting step forward.
As founder and CTO, Steen Secher Schmidt, puts it: “This is the first step on the new journey GPower is on. These are the premises we will outgrow.”
At GPower, we are growing rapidly and have a sharp focus on the global market with our tailored solutions within instruments, simulations, automation, and testing. That is why it is essential that we have the right setting and facilities to realize our ambitions.
“We have been rethinking our approach to the market through a new business strategy. In that context, it is beneficial for us—and for our customers—that our developers move more in-house, as is possible at the new address. In addition, it is no secret that there are excellent facilities that motivate and foster the knowledge sharing we are aiming for,” says CEO Martin Boje.
More in-house time for our developers provides greater opportunities for knowledge sharing and exchange of experience in relation to the projects we deliver. At the same time, it goes hand in hand with our ambition to train new developers ourselves in the specialist expertise—especially within LabVIEW and TestStand—that we at GPower have built up over the past 20 years.
A family feel—regardless of size
The move means more space for both brainpower and hardware. There is significantly greater storage capacity, and as we are also in the process of expanding our team, it is important that there is room for everything.
“We chose this location because it has a warmth that fits the ‘family feel’ we have here at GPower—and that we also want when we are even more people one day. And as a bonus, I can see that there is also a vacant room on the other side of the corridor if needed,” says Martin Boje.
