Simon Hjortshøj Frølund comes from a position as Head of Engineering at HBK, where since 2016 and up to now he has worked with complete measurement systems, installations, and data acquisition—as well as project management and delivery to customers.
Prior to HBK, Simon held a position as Measurement System Engineer at Vestas, where he started in 2010 after graduating as an Electronics Engineer from the Engineering College in Aarhus.
At Vestas, Simon worked in the Test & Verification department, where they tested prototype wind turbines at test sites in Denmark. In addition, Simon was responsible for testing various wind turbine components, which took him to, among other places, the USA, Canada, Sweden, and Germany.
In addition to Simon having more than 13 years of experience in test and measurement, his most recent role also gave him experience as Head of Engineering both in Denmark and abroad. Competencies we look forward to benefiting from at GPower 😊
