We are delighted to share the news that Gabriel Avenia is continuing at GPower after completing his internship! An internship that is part of Gabriel’s education as a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics at Aarhus University (AU) – and which, according to Gabriel himself, has included everything from developing internal and external projects to certifications and social events:
“My internship at GPower has been an extremely useful extension of my university studies. A period that has taught me a lot about what it means to be an engineer on a day-to-day basis – and not only in theory. I have also learned a great deal professionally. This is evident, among other things, in the fact that I have obtained a LabVIEW certification, which I am very pleased about. In addition, the team at GPower is highly skilled – and fun to work with 😊. That is why I am also really happy that I have been given the opportunity to continue being part of the team!” – Gabriel Avenia, Software Engineer at GPower.
Purpose and requirements for engineering internships
For students, the purpose of the engineering internship is that, in connection with employment in an approved company, they gain practical experience with engineering work and see how engineering tasks are solved in practice. Approval at AU is based on an overall assessment of the following conditions:
› The company must carry out professional tasks that are relevant to the programme
› The work tasks assigned to the intern during the internship must be of an engineering nature
› During the internship, the intern must be linked to an employee who has an engineering degree or a relevant Master’s degree in a natural science discipline
