As we previously revealed, National Instruments (NI) has selected us to deliver courses and certification exams in LabVIEW and TestStand – a new chapter that we have truly begun this week with an extended TestStand course, including the option of a final CTD certification (Certified TestStand Developer) for those who do not already hold the certification.
Three-day TestStand course for GPower’s developers
“Developing Test Programs Using TestStand”. That is the title of the course led by our Certified Professional Instructor, Jens Christian Andersen, over the past three days. With this course, our developers have gained an even stronger foundation for developing advanced test concepts with TestStand – in combination with LabVIEW – which we increasingly need, as we are seeing growing demand for precisely this type of project.
As we solve many different types of projects within test and measurement, it is important to us to have a high level of diversity among our employees in terms of theoretical background and practical experience. Therefore, regardless of whether participants had extensive or limited theoretical experience with TestStand before the course, we have created a shared set of competencies through the course, resulting in even stronger and more reliable high-quality solutions.
From TestStand course to CTD certification
As a conclusion to the course, those who are not already certified have the option to take a CTD certification. This certification can subsequently be supplemented with a CTA certification (Certified TestStand Architect).
At present, we have not set future certification dates, but we will keep you updated on LinkedIn if you would like to participate next time we deliver NI’s certification exams.
