2018 has been an eventful year for GPower, with many new hires, new customers, and further development of our own products and test concepts. However, we allow ourselves to expect even more from 2019! In this blog post, our CEO highlights some of the key moments from 2018 and our expectations for 2019.
In several areas, there has been significant and positive development at GPower throughout 2018, and we feel we can go on Christmas holiday with the conviction that we have followed our strategy and met the expectations we set for the year. As we have, among other things, brought more exciting test and measurement projects in-house, our development department has also more than doubled in size and broadened professionally. As things stand now, we have built a strong team of engineers and physicists, which will already be expanded by 2–3 people during the first quarter of 2019.
The increase in capacity and competencies means, among other things, that alongside our familiar project types within test and measurement, we can now also deliver large, vision-oriented development projects. At the same time, we have also made good progress in developing our software platform, quality instruments, and test concepts, which you will hear much more about in 2019.
What is the overall picture for 2018?
Overall, we can see that the market has responded well to our vision that industry deserves and expects better test and measurement instruments at competitive prices. We can say this with confidence partly because our primary growth in 2018 was created in collaboration with existing customers, who were able to use our solutions across multiple projects.
In 2019, we are ready to approach new customers and markets with our solutions in a more structured way, including in collaboration with our long-standing partner National Instruments.
Finally, I would like to wish our partners a Merry Christmas. See you in 2019.
