Fourteen-year-old Emil Andersen got a small taste of that last week, when he did work experience at GPower\u2019s headquarters in Hinnerup.  <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-197fd552 elementor-widget-divider--view-line elementor-widget elementor-widget-divider\" data-id=\"197fd552\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"divider.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-divider\">\n\t\t\t<span class=\"elementor-divider-separator\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/span>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-48d479ff elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"48d479ff\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">What tasks did we give him?\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f06ca24 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"f06ca24\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Since our primary tool is LabVIEW, one of our developers had, of course, prepared a few tasks to be solved using the visual programming language.<\/p><p><a href=\"https:\/\/gpower.io\/en\/what-is-labview\/\">What is LabVIEW? [National Instruments]<\/a><\/p><p>Another task was also to build a robot out of LEGO. But as a work experience student at GPower, it was of course not enough just to build the robot \u2013 there was also a follow-up programming task to be completed. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-330f7a72 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"330f7a72\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h3 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">School is not quite so bad after all<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-2aa9b561 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"2aa9b561\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>As a follow-up question to the work experience, we were of course interested to hear whether it had been more fun to be part of a company instead of going to school. And while we expected Emil to say that three days with the developers had been more fun than three days at school, the feedback was, however, a little different: <\/p><p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s actually a bit more fun to go to school. There are always lots of fun and random things happening, and the days aren\u2019t that long either\u201d<\/em> &#8211; Emil Andersen, Work Experience Student at GPower.<\/p><p>So even though we had the impression that we have a fun day-to-day here at GPower, it apparently cannot compete with what happens at school \ud83d\ude0a<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What does it really mean to be part of a software company?
