From 1 February 2019, our development department will once again be expanded! And this time, it is not just with one, but with two strong profiles in the form of engineer Mads Grunnet Askholt (left) and physicist Poul Lindholm Pedersen (right), which we are all very much looking forward to! \n<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The recruitment strategy\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

At GPower, the recruitment strategy has been to build a team of developers with a broad range of competencies and insight, as we have found that this kind of diversity results in a strong skill set and strong team dynamics\u2014parameters that are crucial to maintaining our position as leading experts in Europe when it comes to building specialized measuring instruments, signal generators, and controllers for projects within automation, simulation, and test. <\/p>

This strategy has, among other things, meant that our team today consists of very different profiles in terms of, for example, education, competencies, and experience\u2014something the hiring of Mads and Poul also helps to support.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Why GPower?\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

As a continuation of the strategy, a key question is nevertheless why Mads and Poul wanted to be part of GPower, which they elaborate on below:<\/p>

\u201cI chose to join GPower to become part of a knowledge-intensive development team and a growing company. Here, I expect to be able to use my skills, learn new things, and take on new challenges in exciting projects\u2014and not least to geek out even more <\/em>\ud83d\ude0a<\/em>\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Mads Grunnet Askholt.<\/p>

\u201cI have always been interested in hardware and instrumentation. In my professional work, I have also been focused on innovation and the application of technology in industry. Therefore, it was an obvious choice for me to apply to GPower because of their mission to bring advanced instrumentation to industry\u201d<\/em> \u2013 Poul Lindholm Pedersen. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Mads Grunnet Askholt\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Mads holds an engineering degree from Aarhus University and comes from a position at Grundfos, where he worked as a Senior Engineer in their electronics test department. In addition, he has, among other things, been a LabVIEW developer at Mita-Teknik as well as a technician at Danmon Systems Group. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Poul Lindholm Pedersen\n<\/h3>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Poul is trained as a physicist and, among other things, holds a Master of Science (MSc) in nanotechnology and a PhD from Aarhus University. In addition, over the past four years he has worked as a consultant at the Danish Technological Institute, where he has been involved in technology development for the oil industry. <\/p><\/div>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
